MBUX is Mercedes-Benz’ new and innovative infotainment system. It combines the power of AI with the ease of use of voice controls, and creates an allround immersive experience in every seat of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
During my time on the team, I developed multimodal interaction concepts for the MBUX software from start to finish. These interactive experiences are now used by drivers, codrivers and passengers worldwide in vehicles like the 2021 S-Class, the 2021 EQS, the 2022 C-Class and in many other models.
Another big part of my work was the development (ownership) and formulation of UI design guidelines for third-party service providers within the MBUX platform. Validating and communicating these guidelines also proved to be part of my daily tasks.
Further responsibilities included:
– Analysis of infotainment systems accompanying the market (competition analysis)
– Implementation of expert & customer studies
– Creation of concepts for the optimization of internal processes and procedures
– Creation of strategies and content for the social media presence of MBUX
